2022 Blacktail Proprietary Red Wine Six Pack

2022 Cervantes Blacktail Red Wine Napa Valley Blacktail grew out of our ongoing journey in, through, and around the land that makes up our eponymous ranch in the corner of Pope Valley, in the far reaches of the Napa Valley. The character of the land is rugged, wild, stunningly beautiful, and unlike anything we know in Napa. The goal from the beginning has been to create something wholly new and unique—a wine that is rich and complex, just like this landscape.

The 2022 Blacktail is a blend of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Malbec, 18% Petite Sirah, 9% Tempranillo, and 2% Petit Verdot. The wine is as rich and complex as the blend sounds, with notes of dark chocolate, raspberry, flint, a hint of clove and even some Boysenberry jam. The impression is soft, polished and round, but with enough concentration and depth that it should continue to evolve for years to come in the bottle.
