There's no better way to welcome spring than gathering around an open fire, a glass of wine in hand, and a long table set among the vines — and that's exactly the afternoon we shared on May 9th. We hosted a traditional Argentine Asado lunch at the ranch, led by our friend Valentín Galdón, who brought the spirit of Argentina to Napa in the most authentic way. Guests arrived at noon to find a long table waiting alongside the vineyard, set for an afternoon of slow cooking, shared plates, and effortless enjoyment — open-fire asado cooked low and slow, premium meats served family-style, and seasonal sides inspired by the Argentine countryside, all alongside Cervantes wines flowing freely throughout the lunch.

It wasn't a formal affair — it was about sitting together, passing plates, pouring wine, and letting the afternoon unfold naturally. With seating kept intimate, the day felt exactly as it should: unhurried, generous, and full of warmth. We're already looking forward to the next gathering around the fire.
